About Fieldnote
Most AI implementations fail before they start. Not because the technology is wrong — because nobody sold the people on it.
I've spent more than two decades running sales teams, managing retail operations, and leading marketing for organizations that sold to thousands of accounts. I know what it looks like when a new system gets handed down from leadership and dies quietly on the floor because the people expected to use it never believed in it.
That's the problem I solve.
I come into your organization, learn how your operation actually works — not how the org chart says it works — and find where AI fits without breaking what's already functioning. Then I help your team understand why it's worth using. Not with a slide deck. With a conversation that starts from their reality, not mine.
The technology part is the easy part. Getting a 15-year sales rep to change how they work is not. I've done both.
About Brad Gullion
I built my career at the intersection of sales, operations, and the kind of organizational change that makes people uncomfortable before it makes them better.
I've managed more than 250 retail locations. I've led sales and marketing for a B2B wholesaler with over 12,000 retail accounts. And I've done what most AI consultants haven't: built these tools from scratch inside real organizations, trained them on real data, and watched what happens when you hand them to people who were never asked if they wanted them.
That experience is the difference between knowing what AI can do and knowing how to make it stick.
Fieldnote is where I share what I've learned — about AI, about operations, and about the gap between what technology promises and what it actually delivers.
If you're trying to close that gap inside your organization, that's exactly what I do.
